BPM at the Personal Democracy Forum 2015
Black Politics Matter was in pre-launch during the Personal Democracy Forum 2015 in New York City; and we had a combined, #AskaSista panel with Attorney and Radio Show host, Lizz Brown, MSNBC's Bridget Marie and NLC alum and Media Rep, Lauren Brown. The picture in the right frame is that of Aiyana Stanley Jones, a 7 year old girl who was killed in Detroit by a police officer acting with reckless abandon as he pursued a suspect (in the wrong home) while filming the reality TV show, "The First 48." Prosecutors and Judges are elected. And this is why #BlackPoliticsMatter.
