#BlackPoliticsMatter was in attendance at The Movement for Black Lives Convening and we thank the organizers for their hard work in pulling so many of us who are organizers and activists together. Those of us heavily focused on electoral politics were able to have more in depth discussions to help us move forward, so that we can turn our pain into political power. We are incredibly grateful to Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi and Patrisse Cullors for creating #BlackLivesMatter, as both a hashtag and a Movement with a hashtag and all of the organizers of the #M4BL Convening at Cleveland State University.
